Patrol Officer Jamieson Ritter Award

Patrol Officer Jamieson Ritter #1176 was murdered in the line of duty July 4, 2024. 

The Jamieson Ritter award is given to a newly sworn member of the Cleveland Division of Police upon graduating from the Cleveland Police Academy. The recipient receives, from the CPPA, a brand new custom tailored, Class A Dress Blouse and plaque.

The award recipient is chosen by Academy Instructor's who recognize the newly trained officer's compassion for service.
